Hi, I’m Sarah!
In my junior year of high school, after stumbling upon a working artist online, my dream to sell my work was born. Overtime this evolved into also wanting to sell prints, stickers, bookmarks and eventually other stationary and fun things, to bring more beauty and joy into people's lives. I set off to study art, specifically illustration, however, I also have a deep passion for painting. I paint primarily in watercolor and acrylic, and I love to play with color, lighting, and structure through brush strokes.
“Art is the recording of that which strikes you.”—Monsignor Luigi Giussani
As a child I always loved creating. Whether it was with colored pencils, watercolor, markers, or even stickers, all I wanted to do was make art. I grew up in Colorado, in the shadow of the mountains, and my family and I would go to Northern Minnesota on vacation each summer. Between the glorious skies and mountains of the West, and the mysterious forests and lakes of the North, I found myself in constant awe of God’s creation. I find inspiration everywhere, but particularly in the precious moments of stillness and beauty that take my breath away. In these moments I not only encounter the beauty of the world, but the Creator Himself. My art is a little attempt to capture the wonder, awe and beauty of these encounters, and I want to share that with people. I hope my little creations bring you some joy and peace.
